REWARDS


You can earn Bones from doing quests for any faction. If you are purchasing a reward that would be granted by your faction's leader (i.e. "breathing under water = Cordelia/Undine) it can be purchased at a discount. Rewards are either narratively requested to the Faction leaders, or can appear at random if a character would not actively wish for an item/ability but you would like them to have it.

Players are not required to pay for basic housing or anything necessary for survival.

All players are required to submit a top-level comment with their OOC name and reply to it with their character(s) names. Any time you wish to claim a reward, reply to your thread with the form below. You must link to any threads that you are claiming rewards from. You may also bank rewards if there is nothing you wish to purchase, but we recommend you bank them officially so threads are not lost.

Quest threads can be submitted at any time. However, if we notice a habit of quests being submitted with only a handful of comments and then dropped after they are turned in, we will speak with you. Use your best judgement.

You may purchase general rewards including canon powers and items for others up to 300 Bones, but not faction related rewards or full power regains. Player permission is required.



GENERAL REWARDS
100 Bones EACH
◾ SMALL POWER REGAIN: A single power from the character's canon abilities can be regained, along with all abilities under that specific power umbrella.
◾ NON-MAGICAL ITEM OR WEAPON: A single weapon (swords, knives, bows, staffs, etc. Guns can be requested and will not have ammo readily available.) Or item (jewelry, trinkets, armor, etc.) with no magical properties. Weapons/items that come in pairs or small bulk items (like twin swords or a jewelry box filled with jewelry) could be claimed under this reward.

200 Bones EACH
◾ BUSINESS LICENSE: Want to start a business in one of the major trade hubs? Get your own business license to do so! (Please head to the locations page to detail your business).
◾ SMALL FAMILIAR: A single small (average house cat size or smaller) creature or familiar.

250 Bones EACH
◾PERMANENT STAY PASS: Dead and want to stay in Caldera because, well, the alternative kind of sucks? Just really like the place and want to call it home for good? Good news, you can. With your permanent stay pass, you can remain in Caldera even after they send all the other Visitors home. Whenever that is...

300 Bones EACH
◾ FACTION CHANGE: You can change factions, and retain any faction rewards earned at a discount from your previous faction.
◾ MAGICAL ITEM OR WEAPON: A single weapon (swords, knives, bows, staffs, etc. Guns can be requested and will not have ammo readily available.) Or item (jewelry, trinkets, armor, etc.) with magical properties. Weapons/items that come in pairs or small bulk items (like twin swords or a jewelry box filled with jewelry) could be claimed under this reward.
◾ LARGE FAMILIAR: A single large creature (up to the size of a horse) or familiar. Any creature larger than a horse will be sized down accordingly.

500 Bones EACH
◾ FULL POWER REGAIN: All powers from a character's canon are regained. NOTE: Please describe the powers in your reward request. Anything game-breaking will be handled with mod discretion--if you have suggestions for nerfs, please list them in your post.
*a previous purchase of a SMALL POWER REGAIN would lower the cost per 100 Bones spent.

UNDINE REWARDS
100 Bones (200 Bones for non-Undine) EACH
◾ UNDERWATER BREATHING: The permanent ability to breathe underwater. Players may choose whether they wish to add gills to their character or have it be purely magical.
◾ MINOR HEALING: The ability to draw upon the healing powers of water to heal minor scrapes and burns for yourself or others.
◾ MINOR WATER MANIPULATION: Create, destroy, freeze, or otherwise manipulate small bodies of water.
◾SHADOW STEP: Instantly teleport between shadows. You can move from one shadow to another that you can see.
◾SHADOW BLADES: Create weapons made of pure darkness. These ethereal blades (or any other martial weapon you wish to conjure) can cut through solid objects and enemies alike.

250 Bones (350 Bones for non-Undine) EACH
◾ SWIM SPEED: A faster swim speed that also negates any possible side effects brought about by decompression sickness.
◾ WATER SHIELD: Create an temporarily impenetrable bubble around yourself and up to two allies.
◾AQUATIC INVISIBILITY: Become temporarily invisible while submerged in water. Can be removed if acted upon by an outside force.
◾DARK VEIL: Cloak yourself or allies in darkness, hiding from sight. This ability envelops the target in a shadowy mist, rendering them invisible to any observer, even in brightly lit environments.
◾OBSIDIAN ARMOR: Armor made of pure shadow. This dark, nearly indestructible armor forms around your body, providing immense protection against both physical and magical damage while making you appear as a living silhouette of darkness.

300 Bones (450 Bones for non-Undine) EACH
◾ MAJOR HEALING (requires: minor healing): Characters with major healing can heal broken bones and can knit together wounds that could have been life-threatening otherwise for yourself or others.
◾MAJOR WATER MANIPULATION (requires: minor water manipulation): Create, destroy, freeze, or otherwise manipulate large bodies of water.
◾LIVING SHADOW: Your shadow acts independently. This power allows your shadow to move and interact with the environment on its own, capable of spying, restraining enemies, or even attacking with its own malicious intent.
◾TENDRILS OF DUSK: Shadowy tentacles restrain or attack foes. These tendrils are capable of binding opponents in place or attacking them with crushing force.

500 Bones (700 Bones for non-Undine) EACH
◾ SEA CREATURE TRANSFORMATION: The ability to transform into any sea creature (real, fantasy, mythological) with any associated abilities. *You are not restricted to a single creature. Any creature exceeding 15ft in length or height will be scaled down accordingly.
◾CRYSTAL SUBMARINES: Submersible vessels crafted from enchanted crystals that refract and harness sunlight to power their propulsion systems. They provide stealth and protection against deep-sea dangers.
◾WRAITH FORM: Transform into a spectral, intangible being. In this form, you become a shadow-like figure, passing through physical objects and becoming nearly impervious to most attacks, though unable to interact physically with the environment.

DRYAD REWARDS
(as of January 2025, Dryad Rewards now include fire-themed abilities thanks to the newly risen leader Ignacia and her volcano)

◾ MINOR EARTH MANIPULATION: The ability to move rocks around and manipulate them into small structures and grant one's self temporary rock armor.
◾ PLANT GROWTH: Grow plants and fungi with merely a thought.
◾ MINOR FIRE MANIPULATION: The ability to create and control small flames, such as igniting a candle, torch, or causing sparks from your hands.
◾ HEAT RESISTANCE: The ability to withstand extreme temperatures, protecting yourself from burns, heatstroke, and other heat-related injuries.

250 Bones (350 Bones for non-Dryads) EACH
◾ SEISMIC SENSES: You can sense movements around you by feeling the vibrations in the land.
◾SPEAK WITH ANIMALS: The ability to speak with any animal (land, sea, or sky).
◾FIRE SHIELD: Create a temporary protective barrier of flame around yourself and up to two allies. This shield can burn attackers on contact.
◾PYROKINESIS: The ability to generate and control fire using only the mind, without the need for physical contact. A person with pyrokinesis can ignite, manipulate, and extinguish flames at will, and can even control their intensity, size, and direction.

300 Bones (450 Bones for non-Dryads) EACH
◾ MAJOR EARTH MANIPULATION (requires: minor earth manipulation): The ability to move and manipulate large bodies of earth and grant one's self and others temporary rock armor.
◾ TREE TRAVERSAL: The ability to travel from one place to another via opening a portal through a tree. (Said tree trunk must be large enough for the character to comfortably pass through, and can only be connected to trees in locations the character has been before).
◾CRYSTALLOKINESIS: Control over crystals and gemstones, being able to manipulate their formation, growth, and properties. This could include creating barriers or temporary weapons.
◾INFERNAL HEALING: Using fire for regenerative purposes, either healing oneself or others by burning away injury or infection.
◾MAJOR FIRE MANIPULATION (requires: minor fire manipulation): The ability to conjure and control large fires, create fireballs, or generate intense heat waves. You can now manipulate the flames at a more destructive level.

500 Bones (700 Bones for non-Dryads) EACH
◾ LAND CREATURE TRANSFORMATION: You can transform into any land creature of your choice (real, fantasy, mythological), along with any powers associated with that creature. *You are not restricted to a single creature. Any creature exceeding 15ft in length or height will be scaled down accordingly.
◾EARTH GOLEM: Summon a large, powerful golem to aid you in combat (or to help you farm, or whatever else you think a big stone golem would be good for!)
◾FIRE ELEMENTAL FORM: A transformative ability that allows a person to take on a form composed of or infused with fire. In this form, they may possess enhanced strength, speed, and durability, as well as the ability to control and manipulate flames more effectively. They are also immune to fire damage.

SYLPH REWARDS
100 Bones (200 Bones for non-Sylphs) EACH
◾ MINOR LIGHT MANIPULATION: You can create small illusions with a trick of the light--not enough to fool anyone who looks close enough, but enough to cause a small distraction.
◾ DANCING LIGHTS: Create up to three orbs of light (the size of a standard lantern) to illuminate the immediate area around you.

250 Bones (350 Bones for non-Sylphs) EACH
◾ FLIGHT: The ability to fly. This comes with CUSTOM WINGS that can be any size, shape, or design that you wish. They may be hidden at will.
◾ MAJOR LIGHT MANIPULATION (requires: minor light manipulation): You can create a full mirage with the light, manipulate light sources like candles, lanterns, etc and snuff out or ignite light sources at will.

300 Bones (450 Bones for non-Sylphs) EACH
◾ FOG OF WAR: You can create a veil of fog in an area around yourself. It cannot hide you entirely, but it is thick enough that it may assist in a surprise attack.
◾ SUNBEAM (requires: dancing lights): Create a large ball of light that can blind foes and illuminate a large area around you or wherever you place it.

500 Bones (700 Bones for non-Sylphs) EACH
◾ AIRSHIP: A customizable airship that can carry adventurers through the skies.
◾ FLYING CREATURE TRANSFORMATION: You can transform into any creature with the ability to fly (real, fantasy, mythological), as well as any powers associated with that creature. *You are not restricted to a single creature. Any creature exceeding 15ft in length or height will be scaled down accordingly.

ONE TIME USE REWARDS
2000 Bones EACH
◾ PERSONAL MEETING WITH CHOSEN FACTION LEADER: A one-on-one meeting with the leader of the faction the character is currently aligned to. This will be an actual thread with the NPC.
